Manjarabad Fort
Manjarabad fort is a star fort built in 1792 by Tipu Sultan the then Sarvadhakari/ruling on behalf of Mysore King of Mysore following French star-shaped fort designs made popular by Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban that deflect cannon fire and allow guns to cover all approaches without dead positions.
Bisle Viewpoint
Bisle Viewpoint, about 5 Km from Bisle village, is popular as a view point to get the beautiful and astonishing views of three mountain ranges including Kumara Parvatha, Pushpagiri and Dodda Betta. The highlight of this point is that the view has a valley, with Giri River separating the beauty point and these mountain ranges.
Manjehalli Waterfalls
Manjehalli Waterfalls is 20 ft long Waterfall nestled between the lush green hills at a distance of 8 km from Sakleshpur. Also known locally as Abbi Falls cascading from 20 feet are best visited during monsoon but you have to be careful while taking a dip in the gurgling stream or walking on the slippery rocks.
Betta Bhairaveshwara Temple
Bhairaveshwara Temple is ancient temple situated near Mekanagadde in Sakleshpur. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Betta Byraveshwara Temple is located atop Pandavar Gudda Hill and is considered approximately 600 years old.
Belur-Halebidu temples
Belur was the erstwhile capital of Hoysala Empire. It is a Vaishnava Hindu pilgrimage centre, and is near the foothills of the Western Ghats.Halebidu on the other hand is surrounded by low lying mountains, and rivers. while the most important temple here is the Hoysaleswara Temple.
Shettihalli Church
Built in the 1860s by the French missionaries in India, the church is a magnificent structure of Gothic Architecture.After the construction of the Hemavati Dam and Reservoir in 1960 the church was Submerged under water due to the dam. It has since then become a famous tourist spot where people flock to see the half submerged church during monsoon.
