Identifying the Safest Borough in London and Exploring its Neighbourhoods
The crime data for London boroughs was obtained from Kaggle. The data is for years 2008 to 2016. The additional data for each borough (Population, Area, Local Authority, etc.) was scraped from Wikipedia (London Boroughs, Districts in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames) . Safest borough was identified based on the crime statistics. The neighborhoods in the safest borough were later clustered based upon the most common venues in the area.

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames was identified as the safest borough in London.
The Google API Geocoder is used to get the geographical co-ordinates of the borough and visualize it using folium. Similarly, co-ordinates for the neighbourhoods in Kingston upon Thames are generated.
Clustering of the neighborhoods in Kingston upon Thames revealed 4 distinct clusters.
This analysis can be used to further extend targeted marketing to analyze and identify location specifications and nature of social life in the area.
