Hello! I am a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics at Western University. My supervisor is Prof. Graham Denham.
Generally, I am interested in the interplay between combinatorics, algebra and geometry in matroids.
Before joining the PhD program, I did a master's degree from Western, supervised by Prof. Graham Denham.
A detailed curriculum vitae is available upon request.
May 20 - 25, 2025: “Resonance Varieties of Schubert Matroids” at CanaDAM 2025, University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Canada.
January 26 - 28, 2024: Attended the Combinatorial Algebra meets Algebraic Combinatorics (CAAC) 2024 at LACIM (UQAM), Montréal, Canada.
I adhere to the following axioms, set out by Federico Ardila:
Mathematical talent is distributed equally among different groups, irrespective of geographic, demographic, and economic boundaries.
Everyone can have joyful, meaningful, and empowering mathematical experiences.
Mathematics is a powerful, malleable tool that can be shaped and used differently by various communities to serve their needs.
Every student deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
I am passionate about making mathematics a more welcoming space for students historically underrepresented in academia.
My email is pudanshi (at) uwo (dot) ca.
