Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle, Denton County, Texas was in use by 1882, when the Prairie Mound Methodist Episcopal Church, South was deeded adjoining property. The cemetery's earliest marked grave is that of Edgar Myers, who lived from 1875–1878. The cemetery is about 4.5 acres fenced in, and in 1970, Mrs. Miller Faught donated an additional 2 acres to the cemetery. The cemetery is the burial site of many pioneer settlers from the Argyle-Justin area
