Hi, I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Data Science and Engineering at IISER Bhopal under the supervision of Prof. Tanmay Basu. I have completed my Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Mathematics and Computing at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India. My doctoral research, titled “Bayesian Modeling and Classification for High-Dimensional Gene Expression Data”, focused on developing advanced statistical models for classifying high-dimensional gene expression profiles under both Bayesian and non-Bayesian frameworks. This included incorporating feature selection and data mining techniques to enhance early disease risk detection through accurate statistical predictions, ultimately aiming to improve medical diagnoses and treatments.
