I have done Level 1 SOC Analyst Training Couse from LetsDefend where I learned the basics tasks that are performed by the SOC Analyst and mastering the use of them. Following are the things that i learned while going through things along with using different tools for analysis.
I learned to about event logs, and monitorring for the detection of vulnerabiities and different events and threats.
Using the LetsDefend Dashboard for figuring out about the logs and events and te manage the different threats as per priority and necessity.
Throughout my entire time i learned about using the SIEM tools like Splunk and different netwrok monitoring tools like Wireshark and Nmaps.
I also learned about the Endpoint Threat Detection and Response (EDR) to secure the endpoint hosts and the traffic and network activities they go through.
