Pradeep R. Bridgelal Author of the Ananda Yatra Books
Pradeep R. Bridgelal
Pradeep was born on the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago and raised in the village of Hardbargain, where faith ran deeper than rivers and stories carried the weight of generations.
At the Triveni Mandir, under the tutelage of his Guru, Shri Rampersad Ramoonsingh, he encountered not only the verses of the Rāmāyaṇa but fell in love with the living presence of Shri Rāma Himself.
From that moment onward, Pradeep’s life has been a quiet offering: through song, story, and service, he has dedicated himself to the path of Sanātana Dharma, making its beauty accessible and vibrant for all who listen.
He is the co-host of thehindupod, a podcast he shares with his daughter, Vishala Bridgelal, where they explore the immortal televised Rāmāyaṇa by Ramanand Sagar with reverence, laughter, and insight.
Each week, you can find him chanting and sharing at his home mandir—The Sanatan Dharm Mandir at 12918 Player St, Houston TX 77045—where the spirit of Ayodhyā echoes in every prayer.
With a deep love for Scripture, visual storytelling, and the poetic rhythms of epics, Pradeep is currently developing Ananda YatraSeriesa tribute series inspired by the Ānanda Rāmāyaṇa that brings ancient truths into luminous modern form. His work seeks not just to retell a story, but to remind the heart that it, too, is part of Rāma’s unfolding līlā.
