Default Dialer Integration: Operate AI Caller as your system's primary phone app with native call interception, incoming call UI, and in-call controls.
Dual SIM Management: Set your preferred calling SIM (Always Ask, SIM 1, or SIM 2) or select SIM cards on the fly with 1 tap.
Tactile Call State Haptics: Feel instant, distinct vibration feedback when a call is answered by the remote party, hung up, or merged into a conference call.
Automated Post-Call Sheet: Right after hanging up, review an AI-generated summary of key takeaways and actionable follow-ups.

Set as Default Dialer:
When launching the app for the first time, tap Set as Default Dialer to enable full call interception, caller ID overlays, and post-call AI summary triggers.
Placing & Managing Calls:
Use the bottom Call History or Contacts tab to place calls. Dual SIM devices can choose their preferred SIM in Settings $\rightarrow$ SIM & Calling.
Capturing Notes After a Call:
When your call ends, the Post-Call Sheet automatically appears. Tap any Quick Note Template chip or tap the Microphone to dictate additional details, then tap Save.
Setting Reminders & Tasks:
Open the Tasks tab to view your daily call stats and scheduled reminders. Tap the + button to add new tasks or set call reminders for contacts.
Global Search:
Tap the Search icon in the top bar to search for any contact name, phone number, past call note, or task across the entire app.

AI Caller is engineered with a strict Privacy-First design:
On-Device Data Processing: All call logs, transcripts, AI call summaries, tasks, notes, and callback reminders are processed and stored 100% locally on your device in an encrypted local database.
No Server Data Harvesting: We do NOT collect, harvest, monetize, rent, or transmit your phone call history, contact list, or audio dictations to any external tracking servers or third-party advertisers.
AI Caller requires specific Android system permissions to operate as your system's phone dialer. Here is why each permission is required:
Phone & Default Dialer (CALL_PHONE, MANAGE_OWN_CALLS, READ_PHONE_STATE): Required to place and receive phone calls, intercept incoming calls, display active call screens, handle dual SIM cards, and manage in-call audio controls (speaker, mute, keypad DTMF tones).
Call History (READ_CALL_LOG, WRITE_CALL_LOG): Required to display call logs, calculate daily call analytics, and trigger post-call summary sheets upon call completion.
Contacts (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS): Required to match phone numbers to contact names/avatars and display your address book for 1-tap dialing and fast A-Z search.
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Required only when you explicitly tap the microphone button in the post-call screen to dictate voice notes. Speech processing uses standard on-device Android Speech Recognition. Audio is never secretly recorded or uploaded.
Notifications & Reminders (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required to display active call status notifications and trigger scheduled callback reminders.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
The App uses standard Google Play infrastructure for app distribution:
Google Play Services: Used to facilitate app installation, update checks, and Play Store licensing. Learn more at the Google Play Services Privacy Policy.
Because your data resides locally on your device:
In-App Data Reset: You can permanently delete all call logs, summaries, tasks, and notes at any time by going to Settings $\rightarrow$ Clear All Local Data.
App Uninstallation: Uninstalling AI Caller automatically erases all locally stored database files from your device.
