Prachi Jain

Welcome!

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Loyola Marymount University. My research is at the intersection of experimental economics, behavioral economics, and economic development. I am also interested in gender economics. I am a Research Affiliate at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics in Nairobi, Kenya, a Faculty Affiliate at the Center for Effective Global Action, and an External Faculty Affiliate at the California Center for Population Research at UCLA.

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University. Prior to graduate school, I earned my B.A. in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley.
