I am Prabhangshu K. Das, and since boyhood, I have been eagerly interested in reading scientific books, stories, and autobiographies of scientists.  So after graduating, I always wanted a job that is related to research because it would fulfill my dream and do some activities for common people like a reputed Scientist. So, My endless aspirations and hard labor allow me to join as a scientific officer in the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research which is the only well-known multidisciplinary research organization in Bangladesh. 

I came to the USA for my Ph.D. journey in Chemistry at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC)  because it will update my scientific knowledge, research abilities, analytical and practical knowledge, etc. Moreover, I am trying to fulfill my ambitions of introducing the latest technologies and instruments. Thus, I joined as a graduate student in the Dr. Mohtashim H. Shamsi group (http://www.mshamsi.com/) the pursue my desired PhD. degree. Here, I am researching different types of biosensors designs, and used for nucleic acid detection through different electrochemical methods. I expect that I will graduate in spring,25. Now, I am looking to start my next journey as a post-doctoral fellow.

In my free time, I want to walk, play, watch movies, etc. I like to spend my spare time with my family members. Now, I am living with my two cute daughters, and wife. I am very feeling mom, siblings, and my nieces and nephew.
