In my previous article I discussed the concept of Page Rank and how it affects your SEO Optimization efforts. Now let's discuss one more factor which is the effect of publishing your article on a different URL. In most cases, the PR články will be affected, but not directly. This is because Google will see the published page as part of a group of pages associated with that URL.
If you publish your article to a directory such as EzineArticles, you may be affected by the publication of your article on another directory. For example, if you publish your article on a directory such as GoArticles, Google will see that article published on EzineArticles as part of a group of relevant URLs. Google views both GoArticles and EzineArticles as containing the same amount of content and as being equally relevant for search results. Thus, when they list your article at the top of the page, Google will follow this link to the published page and will increase its ranking. The same logic applies if you publish your article to a RSS feed.
Of course, there are some ways to counteract these effects of publication. For example, some sites allow you to re-publish your article without having to resubmit it. Others do not. You should check the guidelines of each site to find out whether you can re-publish your article. If you cannot publish your article with these sites, it is worth considering submitting it to an article directory with a high page rank. You may even consider sending a separate letter to the publishers of these sites, pointing out that your article is being published without their prior consent.
There is another way to help Google's algorithm improve its Page Rank. If you write a lot of articles about a subject, Google will give you a higher Page Rank boost whenever you write an article that was published on a site associated with this subject. So if you are writing an article on wedding planning, and you submit it to DIY or Wedlish, you will get a better Page Rank boost from Google if your article is published on a site associated with planning a wedding.
The reason for this is that Google gives Page Rank boosts to websites with a large number of pages. This is because each individual page helps Google to establish which keywords an individual page is most relevant for. Google also tries to make sure that an article is published on as many different sites as possible, to make it more likely that a visitor to the article will want to follow links within that article. This is one of the reasons that sites such as Yahoo! Answers get a high Page Rank, because they are generally seen as being authoritative sites.
In addition to boosting Page Rank through publication, you can also get visitors to your article by signing up for RSS feeds, or visiting forums that discuss topics about your topic. You can also use your article's URL to direct potential readers to your website, so that when they visit you website they can find more information about your published article.
