FunChess does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Every feature works entirely on your device.
WHAT THE APP DOES ON YOUR DEVICE
- Play vs Computer, Two Players, and Learn to Play all run locally on your device, including the built-in Stockfish chess engine. No game data is sent to us or to any server.
- The app may store your game history and preferences (such as your preferred AI difficulty level) locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted anywhere and is deleted automatically if you delete the app.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
- We do not require or collect an account, name, email address, or any other personal information.
- We do not use advertising or ad networks.
- We do not use analytics or tracking software of any kind.
- We do not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
- We do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any.
ONLINE MULTIPLAYER / GAME CENTER
FunChess does not currently offer online multiplayer. If this feature is added in the future, it would use Apple's Game Center, and any data involved (such as your Game Center player identity) would be governed by Apple's own privacy policy, not ours. This policy will be updated before that feature is released.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
FunChess does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13, and is safe for all ages to use.
