• Local Storage Only: All data created within the Extension—including your message templates, categories, and last-used variable values—is stored locally on your device using the chrome.storage.sync API.

• Syncing: If you have Chrome's sync feature enabled, your templates will be synced across your own devices where you are logged into the same Google account. This data is encrypted by Google and is not accessible by us.

2. Permissions

The Extension requests the following permissions to function:

• Storage: Used solely to save and retrieve your custom templates and settings locally.

• Host Permission (https://web.whatsapp.com/*): Used to inject the quick reply interface (suggestion bar and variable modal) into the WhatsApp Web page and to insert your selected template text into the message box. We do not read your private messages or transmit any chat data to external servers.

3. Third-Party Services

• No External Servers: The Extension does not communicate with any external servers or APIs.

• Ko-fi: The "Support Me" button is a simple hyperlink that opens the developer's Ko-fi page in a new tab. No data is shared with Ko-fi unless you choose to visit their site and interact with it directly.

4. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally in your browser's profile, its security depends on the security of your device and your Google account (if syncing is enabled). We recommend using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication for your Google account.
