This workshop supports Peer Partners working in a climate of fear, stress, and immigration‑related pressure. It offers clear, trauma‑informed tools to manage secondary traumatic stress, understand PTSD, and build sustainable resilience. Through hands‑on practice and reflection, participants learn practical strategies to stay grounded, effective, and well in their roles.
Objectives:
> Understand PTSD and how trauma affects the nervous system.
> Identify trauma‑responsive strategies for secondary stress and emotional overwhelm.
> Use practical regulation tools to support personal resilience and service quality.
