Suicide Training

Suicide First Aid for gatekeepers. Parent Partners will learn how to Question, Persuade and Refer someone to get help who is showing signs of suicidal behavior.

• Learn more about prevention techniques for suicide
• The common causes of suicidal behavior
• The warning signs of suicide
• How to get help for someone in crisis

Tues. Dec. 16th, 2025, 9am - 12pm (3 hrs)
This training is free and offered online via ZOOM.

This training is intended for Parent Partner and LA County Peer Support Specialists working with parents, families and children.

This training will provide 2 hours of Parent Partner Continuing Education, and also meets C.E. requirements for SB803 recertification.
