This training offers a foundational exploration of LGBTQ+ terminology and identities. Participants will develop a respectful and inclusive understanding of the diverse experiences within LGBTQ+ communities, gaining the knowledge and confidence to communicate appropriately and supportively. Emphasis is placed on fostering cultural humility, increasing awareness, and strengthening the ability to create affirming environments in a variety of mental health and community-based settings.

This training is open to all team members in LA working with parents, families and children.
This training will provide 2 hours of Parent Partner Continuing Education, and also meets C.E. requirements for SB803 recertification.

You MUST attend the entire training. Any early sign-offs will result in no credit for the training.
Your camera MUST be on the entire time of the training. Please use a computer that has a functioning camera--test out your camera before attending.
DO NOT share your confirmation link with anyone. Each link is unique to the individual registered to attend. Sharing your link will result in either you or the other person not receiving credit for attending.
