This presentation aims to equip Parent Partners and LA County service providers with effective strategies for engaging and supporting foster parents. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the foster parent experience, including their roles, challenges, and emotional journey. The training emphasizes the importance of building trust, maintaining clear communication, and fostering collaborative relationships. Ultimately, the goal is to strengthen partnerships that promote stability, healing, and positive outcomes for children in care.
This training is intended for ALL team members working with parents, families and children.
This training will provide 2 hours of Parent Partner Continuing Education, and also meets C.E. requirements for SB803 recertification.
