Thank you for choosing Status Saver - WA. We are deeply committed to your privacy. Status Saver - WA was built from the ground up with a strict "Complete Offline Privacy" and "Privacy by Design" philosophy.

This Privacy Policy explains how our application functions and interacts with your device. In short: Status Saver - WA is a 100% offline application. We do not collect, process, transmit, or sell any of your personal data.

1. Zero Data Collection & Offline Nature

Status Saver - WA does not have a user registration or login system. We do not ask for your email, phone number, or passwords. The application does not even contain the code required to connect to the internet.

• All statuses (photos, videos, text) you save are processed and stored exclusively on your device's internal storage.

• We do not collect analytics, IP addresses, location data, or device identifiers.

• We do not use any third-party tracking SDKs, crash reporters, or advertising networks.

2. Permissions & Data Usage

To function properly as a status saving utility, Status Saver - WA requires specific device permissions. All data accessed via these permissions remains strictly on your device:

• Storage Access (SAF / Read External Storage): Required to browse and read the hidden status folders of your messaging apps so that Status Saver - WA can display the statuses to you, and to save your selected media to your public gallery (Pictures/Status Saver - WA or Movies/Status Saver - WA).

• System Alert Window (Draw Over Other Apps): Required exclusively to display our "Floating Bubble" feature, allowing you to quickly save a status while the messaging app is open.

• Foreground Service & Notifications: Used to keep the Floating Bubble active without being killed by the Android system and to notify you when a status is successfully saved.

3. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE API DISCLOSURE (IMPORTANT)

Status Saver - WA uses the Android Accessibility Service API (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE) strictly for its core automatic organization feature.

• Why we need it: We use the Accessibility Service to "read" the screen only when you are actively viewing a status inside the WhatsApp application. This allows Status Saver - WA to capture the contact's name and the status text so that the app can automatically create specific folders and name the saved files correctly based on the uploader's name.

• What we DO NOT do: We do NOT use this permission to read, monitor, or record your private chats or personal messages.

• Data Security: The contact names and text captured via this service are processed entirely in your device's active memory (RAM) and saved locally. Absolutely zero data collected via the Accessibility Service is ever transmitted over the internet or shared with any third party.

4. User Control and Data Deletion

Because Status Saver - WA is fully offline, you have complete control over your data. You can delete all saved statuses directly from your device's gallery or file manager at any time. Uninstalling the application or clearing the app's data will also remove any local interface preferences.
