Prof. Dr. Noor Azlan Ahmad Zanzali was a professor in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His expertise is in the field of mathematics education specifically in mathematics curriculum development. During his various terms as president of PPSMJ, he was able to lead many teachers to the forefront of mathematics and science education by introducing mathematical thinking, creative and critical thinking and inquiry to them. He is now retired and currently resides in Kedah, Malaysia.
Prof Dr Zaleha Ismail was a professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Her field of expertise is in mathematics education specifically in the field of STEM education. Her main contribution as the president of PPSMJ is by expanding and extending STEM education for teachers and STEM education for indigenous communities in Malaysia. Prof Dr Zaleha is now happily retired in Johor Bahru, Johor.
Associate Professor Dr Corrienna Abdul Talib is a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Her field of expertise is in Chemistry Education. As the president, she organized the first Sains and Mathematics Festival under PPSMJ and to organize an educational visit to Thailand. Her contribution has allowed PPSMJ to be well known, not only among Johoreans, but also at the national and international level. Currently, she is actively teaching in UTM and has spearheaded many international collaborative work.
