On Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 the PPS Board approved the adoption of Imagine Learning's Illustrative Mathematics as the K-8 Math Curriculum for the 2024-25 school year!
Why we are excited about Imagine Learning's Illustrative Math:
PERFECT SCORES
Imagine Learning’s Illustrative Math earned perfect scores in EdReports for aligning to the Focus, Coherence, and Rigor of the standards as well as its alignment to the Mathematical Practices.
PROBLEM-BASED APPROACH
We believe that the program’s problem-based approach will support our students to become problem solvers who use mathematics to improve the world both inside and outside of the classroom.
SUPPORTS FOR TEACHERS and STUDENTS
ILIM is full of embedded supports for teachers such as pre-made slides, digital data analysis, and instructional routines directly embedded into the lesson plans, as well as support for students such as engaging tasks and centers, and Math Language Routines.
