Payments:
Clients may receive an invoice via email which will have the due date stated. Clients may be given an account number with the due date stated via face-book, text, or phone call.
Payments are required in advance (three weeks -1 month) for; over-night stays, drop in visits, or pet feeding, if it's longer than three days/nights.
Payment plans is an alternative option if you are not able to pay in full, however, this needs to be discussed BEFORE the invoice has been sent out.
Booking fee:
Overnight stays, drop in visits, and pet feeding require a booking fee if it's longer than three days/nights. The booking fee is nonrefundable. The booking fee secures your slot and goes towards the service if it is not cancelled. The booking fee total will be discussed at the meet and greet or via, email, SMS, or phone call. The booking fee ideally needs to be paid after the meet and greet as we cannot hold bookings.
Cancellations for over-night stays, feedings, or drop in visits:
You must provide two- or one-weeks' notice via Facebook, phone call, or SMS. One- or two-weeks' notice is required to cancel depending how long you are booked in for will depend on the cancellation policy. This does not include the day the service begins. EG: Monday-Sunday would be six days. Sunday-Sunday would be seven days.
If you give less notice than the cancellation period 50% will be kept due to income loss, and 50% will be returned.
Dog Grooming Policy:
Due to privacy, safety, and confidently, clients agree not to share the residential address with members of the public, family, or friends.
All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea, and worm treatments.
Owners must disclose medical conditions, or injuries prior to the groom taking place. Precious Paws & Claws is not responsible for any pre-existing health problems your pet may have. The owner is held responsible for any medical conditions during the grooming process.
If owners believe their pets may become aggressive it is your responsibility to inform Precious Paws & Claws. A muzzle might be required if the dog is becoming/being aggressive. If the aggression is excessive you will be asked to collect your dog due to the safety risk, regardless if the groom has been completed.
Precious Paws & Claws has the right to refuse grooming your pet based on safety risks.
Cancellations for Grooming:
You must provide at-least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment.
You must contact via Facebook, phone call, or SMS if you are running late for your appointment time or for collection. If there is no contact a fee may occur due to income loss.
Dog Walk Policy:
Owners are responsible for regular updates on the following; change in behavior such as; fixating, aggression, jumping, pulling, separation anxiety, biting, chewing, barking.
Dogs will not be walked when they are in heat, showing signs of lethargy, signs of pain, or illness.
Any signs of aggression (biting, teeth snarling, snapping) towards myself, other dogs, or members of the public, will result in the dog being muzzled or removed from the walks. The owner is liable if the dog causes any injuries towards other dogs, myself, members of the public.
Group walks:
Dogs need to be up to date with flea and worm treatments, and vaccinations. Any unwanted behaviors towards other dogs, myself, or members of the public, the dog will be muzzled or removed from the group. The owner is liable if the dog causes any injuries towards myself, dogs, or members of the public.
Precious Paws & Claws is not liable for any dogs that bite, suffer an accidental death, injuries, or cause injuries towards another dog, or person during the walks.
The client is responsible for any veterinarian fee's that may occur during the walk. The client agrees to be held accountable for any injuries that may occur during the walks. The client will reimburse Precious Paws & Claws towards vet bills, or damage to property, if required.
Precious Paws & Claws is not held accountable if any damage occurs at the property when the owner is not home. Or if the dog escapes the property/run/kennel when the owner is not home.
Cancellations for Dog Walks:
This service is weather dependent. Walks may be cancelled on the day IF the weather is not permitted.
