Procedure of practicum
I am a teacher in the SEA Teacher program. I went to the Philippines for four weeks. In the first week of my arrival, I explored the school. In the second week, I started to observe teaching at the school. In the third week, I started to write a lesson plan and reviewed the plan and made corrections. In the fourth week, I practiced teaching with kindergarten children. Everyone in the classroom was very cooperative and helpful throughout.
Results from practice
Results from practice are children cooperate and raise their hands to answer questions continuously. Children can answer questions asked by the teacher and do exercises given by the teacher.
The challenges of practicum
The most challenging thing for me is English. I am not very good at English. When I came to Dmmmsu, I trained myself, dared to speak some. But it was hard for me to communicate. Sometimes I could barely communicate but I could understand. I tried to leae.rn all the time I was ther
Overall Impression
I am impressed to study at Dmmmsu because I have gained a lot of experience and made new friends from both Philippines and Indonesia. All the teachers in the school are kind, friendly and take good care of us. They took us to do activities such as Zumba and have meals together. Everyone is very friendly. We travel a lot and the sea in the Philippines is very calm and beautiful. All my classmates take good care of me. Everyone is always attentive to me. For all this, I would like to thank everyone who has taken care of me for 1 month.
Suggestions for future improvements
Hopefully in the future there will be more students from Thailand joining this project.
An outstanding opportunity to join the SEA Teacher program and achieve the best results. I hope that all the knowledge I have gained here can be used in Thailand.
