Venue
There is a welcome reception from 16:30 on Monday the 5th at the The Bridge bar where you can collect your badge.
The conference will take place at the Murray Lecture Complex, Building 58 lecture room D, at the University of Southampton in the Highfield campus.
Lunch will be served in the lower foyer in the Murray Lecture Theatre complex and the conference dinner (with joint poster session) will be in the Physics Department, Building 46/5081 (Seminar Room on the 5th floor). Please note that Southampton catering are unable to guarantee that their catering products are entirely nut-free. They may have been produced, handled, delivered or stored in an environment that contains nuts and products with labels "may contain nuts".
Funding and fees
The conference is funded by SEPnet (South East Physics Network) and there are no fees. SEPnet will provide accommodation for both days for students from the network. Lunches and coffee breaks are provided as well as the conference dinner planned on day 1. Travel expenses will NOT be covered and participants should rely on their individual funding.
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided in Chamberlain Hall: this is on the opposite side of the site from the main reception at Glen Eyre (use Sat-Nav postcode SO16 3UJ for Glen Eyre Complex). Check-in is after 3pm and check-out is 9:30am.
Please ensure your key is returned to reception. A charge of £25 per key is made for any missing/lost keys. Free parking is available at Glen Eyre.
Breakfast is available 08:30-09:00 in the Terrace Restaurant in Building 38 (Staff Social Centre). Please remember to wear name badges to breakfast so you can be easily identified by staff.
If you prefer, keep in mind that coffee will also be served at 9:30 every day before the first talk of the day.
