This Privacy Policy describes how Tabs Session Saver, a browser extension for Google Chrome, handles user data. We are fully committed to ensuring your privacy. This extension is designed with privacy in mind and follows a strict no-data-collection policy. The extension operates entirely on the user’s local device and does not send or share any data with external servers or third parties.
Tabs Session Saver does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data.
Specifically:
The extension does not collect any personal data (e.g., names, emails, browsing history).
The extension does not track your activity in any way.
No information is shared with third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.
No usage logs or statistics are collected, stored, or transmitted.
All information used by the extension is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage.local API and is only accessible to the extension itself.
Tabs Session Saver requests only the minimal permissions required for its core functionality:
"tabs" permission: Used only to read the titles and URLs of currently open tabs when the user clicks the "Save Tabs" button. This is necessary to store them as a session that the user can reopen later.
"storage" permission: Used to save tab sessions and user preferences (like Dark Mode, Accent Color, and Session Limit) directly in Chrome’s local storage. This data never leaves your device.
These permissions are not used for background monitoring, hidden data access, or unsolicited behavior.
The extension is built as a fully self-contained tool:
All features are executed locally on your device.
No remote code is loaded or executed.
No content from external servers is injected or run within your browser.
The extension does not communicate with any external APIs or databases.
Because of this, Tabs Session Saver is not capable of leaking or transferring data outside of your browser.
All actions taken by the extension require manual user input (e.g., clicking a button). The extension does not run or act automatically in the background without your direct interaction.
Users have full control over:
When to save a session
When to delete it
How many sessions to store
The appearance and color scheme of the UI
You can uninstall the extension at any time to remove all locally stored data.
If future updates to Tabs Session Saver introduce new features that require different permissions or access, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly. However, no changes will ever be made that compromise your data without clear notice and consent.
