Android All Settings — Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 11, 2026
1. App and developer
Android All Settings (com.syslab.secretsettings) is a free, advertising-supported Android app provided by SysLab (한석규). This policy applies to its settings shortcuts, guides, favorites and optional AI recommendations. Contact: kkangsuper@gmail.com.
2. Settings information on your device
The app uses Android-accessible settings links, Android version and manufacturer information to show compatible shortcuts and guides. Favorites, language, appearance and AI consent preferences are stored locally. The app selector reads launcher apps and apps visible to this app so you can choose an app-specific settings screen. The AI feature does not automatically send screenshots, account contents, hardware identifiers or your installed-app inventory. Selecting a target app happens locally; that selection is not sent to Gemini. The app does not read every system submenu, inspect your current setting values, diagnose faults or change settings automatically. Android controls the settings screens and changes you choose to make. Android backup and device transfer may include local preferences according to your system settings.
3. Optional AI recommendations
Before using AI, you are shown an explanation of external processing and asked to agree. The settings list, search and favorites remain usable without AI. You can reset AI consent in the AI screen menu.
For a recommendation, your question and clarification answer (up to 1,000 characters each), app language, manufacturer/model, Android API level, catalog version, candidate setting IDs and availability are sent over HTTPS to our Firebase service. The service sends the question, language, device context and curated setting descriptions to Google's Gemini API to select relevant settings and explain them. Do not enter passwords, account numbers or unrelated private information. AI responses can be inaccurate and do not establish the actual cause of a device problem.
Firebase anonymous authentication provides an app user ID without requiring an email address or login screen. Firebase App Check verifies the app installation. These identifiers support service security, daily limits and reward accounting; they are not sent to Gemini as recommendation input. Reinstallation may create a new identity.
4. AI retention, reports and rewards
We do not write question text to general application logs or our Firestore documents. A hashed request fingerprint prevents conflicting retries. Recommendation or clarification responses and accounting metadata are cached for 24 hours to recover interrupted requests without duplicate charges. Responses may repeat information from a question. Expired responses are unavailable through the request API; physical Firestore TTL deletion is asynchronous and can occur later.
Anonymous quota records retain the latest usage day, limits and temporary reservations to administer the service. Pending reward claims expire after seven days and transaction deduplication records after 30 days. Reports are sent only after you preview and confirm the content. They contain the selected reason, request and anonymous user IDs, and the displayed response if you choose to include it. The original question is not attached. Reports are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. These TTL deletions are asynchronous. Aggregated token usage, cost, response time and error codes are used for operation and budget control.
Rewarded ads are optional. AdMob sends signed transaction and reward information, including the reward target ID, to our service to validate rewards and prevent duplicates. Daily limits reset at UTC midnight; the app displays your local reset time. Unused free and additional uses expire daily. A delayed verified reward is allocated to its confirmation day within the daily limit.
Our production AI functions run in the United States (us-central1), with Firestore in the United States (nam5). Google's paid Gemini API processing and retention terms apply independently; our response-cache expiry does not determine Google's retention. See https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms and https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Advertising, analytics, diagnostics and notifications
Google AdMob and Pangle advertising SDKs process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), advertising/app identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. Advertising services may share these data with advertising partners under their policies. The app does not request precise GPS location for settings or AI recommendations.
Google Analytics for Firebase processes app-instance identifiers, interaction events and device/app information to understand usage. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash traces, app state, device metadata and installation identifiers to investigate failures. Firebase Cloud Messaging uses installation identifiers and notification registration tokens to deliver notifications; notification topics may reflect the mobile network country. These existing SDK activities are separate from AI recommendation input.
Provider information: https://policies.google.com/privacy ; https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads ; https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy ; https://www.pangleglobal.com/privacy . Advertising and Firebase data are retained according to the relevant service policies and configured retention settings. Uninstalling the app does not automatically erase data already processed by service providers.
6. Sharing and your choices
Firebase and Gemini process operational data to provide services for us. AI processing occurs only after the in-app disclosure and your choice to use it. Advertising-related sharing is described above. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
You can decline AI, reset its consent, manage Android advertising privacy controls and notification permissions, clear local app storage or uninstall. Clearing app data may reset favorites and preferences. For access, correction or deletion requests, email kkangsuper@gmail.com. We will identify records we can reasonably associate with your request and use available provider deletion tools. Some security, accounting or legal records may need to be retained. Support email correspondence includes the information you choose to send and is retained while needed to address the inquiry. Do not email passwords or unrelated sensitive data.
7. Security, children and changes
Network data described here is encrypted in transit. Administrative access is restricted to authorized operators. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
This app is not specifically designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We update this policy when our practices change; the effective date identifies the current revision.
