Thank you for choosing Copy Clipboard. We understand that a clipboard manager handles highly sensitive text. Therefore, we built this application with a strict "100% Offline and Privacy-First" architecture.

This Privacy Policy explains how your data is processed. In short: We do not collect, transmit, analyze, or sell any of your clipboard data or personal information. Everything stays on your device.

1. Information We Process (Locally)

Copy Clipboard operates entirely on your device. To provide its core functionality, the app processes the following data locally:

• Clipboard Data: When the "Auto Save" feature is enabled, the app automatically reads the text from your device's system clipboard whenever the app is brought to the foreground.

• User-Provided Data: Any text, titles, or category names you manually input or share to the app from other applications.

• App Preferences: Your settings, such as themes, auto-delete limits, and widget configurations.

2. How Data is Stored & Secured

• Local Storage Only: All your saved texts and preferences are stored exclusively in a local database (SQLite) within the app's secure internal storage sandbox on your device. We do not use any cloud servers, and the application does not even have the permission to access the internet.

• No Encryption at Rest: The local database is protected by the Android operating system's standard security. However, the data is not additionally encrypted by the app. We strongly recommend securing your device with a PIN, password, or biometric lock to protect your clipboard history from unauthorized physical access.

• Android System Backup: Copy Clipboard supports Android's built-in "Auto-Backup" feature. If you have device backups enabled in your Android settings, your clipboard database may be securely backed up to your personal Google Drive account by the Android OS. This process is managed by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can disable this in your device's system settings.

3. No Third-Party Tracking or Monetization

• Zero Trackers: We do not use any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics or Firebase), crash reporters, or telemetry tools.

• Ad-Free: There are no advertisements or advertising SDKs included in this application.

4. Home Screen Widget Privacy

Copy Clipboard offers a Home Screen Widget to display your favorite or pinned copied texts for quick access. Please be aware that any text displayed on the widget will be visible to anyone looking at your device's home screen.

5. User Control and Data Deletion

You have absolute control over your data. You can:

• Disable the automatic clipboard capture at any time via the app's Settings.

• Configure automatic deletion (e.g., delete items older than a certain number of days).

• Permanently delete individual items, categories, or your entire clipboard history directly within the app.

• Uninstalling the app will instantly delete all local data associated with it.
