Chat Smart - Assistant AI is developed and provided by Larapp as a free, advertising-supported application.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you use the application, including its AI chat, image submission, advertising, and optional feedback features.
When you send a message, the application transmits your message, any image you attach, and recent conversation context to OpenRouter to generate a response. The context may include up to ten previous messages.
OpenRouter routes these requests to the AI model provider used for your request. That provider processes the submitted content to generate a response.
Messages and images may contain personal information if you choose to include it. Avoid submitting passwords, financial credentials, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
OpenRouter and its model providers have their own data-handling practices. Retention and possible use of content for model improvement or training depend on the provider and applicable service settings. We do not guarantee that every provider offers zero retention or excludes all content from training.
The application stores conversation history, including attached images, in its local application storage so that you can revisit previous conversations.
You can delete individual conversations or clear your conversation history using the application’s available controls. Depending on your device and Android backup settings, application data may also be included in system backups or device transfers.
Submitting feedback, bug reports, or support requests is optional. When you use the in-app feedback feature, we collect:
Your email address, required by the feedback form.
The subject and content of your submission.
Related conversation content, when included with the submission.
Device manufacturer and model, Android version, application version, and submission timestamp.
This information is transmitted to and stored in Google Firebase Firestore to review feedback, investigate issues, and provide support.
We use your email address for handling your submission and contacting you when necessary. We do not use it to send advertising or promotional messages.
The application uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, investigate crashes, and improve reliability.
These services may process app interactions, device and operating system information, installation identifiers, and crash or performance information.
The application also sends certain API failure reports to Firebase Realtime Database. These reports include a randomly generated identifier stored by the application, elapsed usage time, message and conversation counts, a timestamp, and country information derived from device locale settings. This locale information is not GPS location.
The application uses Google AdMob and may display advertisements from Meta Audience Network through AdMob mediation.
Advertising services may process information such as advertising or other app/device identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, device information, ad interactions, and diagnostics. This information may be used to deliver and measure advertisements and prevent fraud.
Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on applicable requirements, your choices, and service settings. Non-personalized ads may still involve data processing for delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
Where applicable, the application presents a consent form. You can revisit available advertising privacy choices through the application’s privacy settings.
Information is processed to:
Generate AI responses and maintain conversation context.
Display and manage your conversation history.
Review feedback and provide support.
Diagnose failures and improve application functionality.
Display, measure, and maintain advertising services.
Information is disclosed to the relevant service providers as described in this policy. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law.
Using third-party services does not remove our responsibility for how the application handles your information.
The application uses the following services:
OpenRouter and the AI model providers handling requests: OpenRouter Privacy Policy and provider information.
Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Firestore, and Realtime Database: Firebase Privacy and Security.
Google AdMob: Google advertising privacy information.
Meta Audience Network: Meta Privacy Policy.
These providers may process information on servers outside your country. Their processing locations and practices depend on the service and applicable settings.
Local conversation history remains in application storage until you delete it or the application’s local data is cleared. System backups may follow separate retention settings.
Feedback and support records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle submissions, investigate issues, and meet applicable legal or security obligations.
Analytics, crash reports, advertising data, and AI request data are subject to the relevant services’ retention practices and configured settings.
You may contact larbihelp@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you. Please provide enough information to identify the relevant submission. We may need to verify your request.
Deleting a conversation inside the application does not automatically delete information previously transmitted to external services. Requests concerning that information are subject to the relevant provider’s procedures and applicable law.
You can choose not to submit feedback or attach images, delete locally stored conversations, and manage available advertising privacy choices.
AI responses require transmission of the content you submit to the services described above. If you do not want particular information processed by those services, do not include it in your messages or images.
This policy does not replace any separate consent required for particular data processing.
The application uses encrypted network connections, such as HTTPS, to transmit information to its services.
We take reasonable measures to protect information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The application may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We recommend reviewing those policies before providing information.
We may update this Privacy Policy when application features, service providers, or data practices change.
Updates will be published with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before implementing relevant changes.
