Niranjan V ("we", "us", or "our") operates the BillDash mobile application ("BillDash" or the "App").
BillDash is a billing and POS application designed for small hotels, tiffin centers, cafés, food counters, and other small food businesses.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information BillDash may collect, use, store, and share through the App and its integrated third-party services.
BillDash allows users to enter and store business information, including:
Business name
Business address
Business phone number
GSTIN
Product names and prices
Product images
Bills and sales records
Expense records
Customer names and phone numbers, where entered

Business settings
The core business data is designed to be stored locally on the user's device.
BillDash does not require users to create an account to use its core offline billing features.
BillDash is designed as an offline-first application.

can operate without an internet connection.
Business records stored locally by the App are not automatically uploaded to our own business server.
However, certain third-party SDKs integrated into BillDash may independently transmit technical, advertising, analytics, notification, or crash-related information when those services are enabled.
BillDash may use third-party services and SDKs to provide advertising, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and other application functionality.
These services may process certain information according to their respective privacy policies.

We do not intentionally send the user's complete local database of bills, products, expenses, or business records to advertising networks.
BillDash may allow users to add:

Images selected by the user are primarily used for the corresponding BillDash feature and may be stored locally on the device.
If the user chooses to take a photograph, BillDash may request camera permission.
The App does not continuously monitor or access the camera.
BillDash may use Android's file picker and sharing functionality for:
Creating backups
Restoring backups
Exporting CSV files
Creating receipts
Sharing receipts
Sharing reports
The user chooses when and where information is exported or shared.
Once information is shared with another application, that application's own privacy policy applies.
BillDash may provide a local backup and restore feature.
A backup may contain information such as:
Business settings
Products
Product images
Sales
Bills
Expenses

Other information stored within BillDash
Users are responsible for keeping exported backup files secure.
We recommend not sharing backup files with unauthorized persons.
BillDash may allow users to record payment methods such as:
Cash
UPI
Card
Credit
The current billing functionality records the payment method selected by the user.
BillDash does not ask users to provide:
UPI PIN
ATM PIN
Card PIN
Banking passwords
BillDash does not store banking credentials.
If a third-party payment service is introduced in a future version, its applicable privacy terms will also apply.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by BillDash.
Local business information is stored on the user's device.
Users are responsible for securing their device using appropriate security measures such as:
Screen lock
PIN
Password
Biometric authentication
No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Local business data remains on the user's device until the user:
Deletes the relevant information within the App, where supported;
Clears the App's data;
Uninstalls the App; or
Restores/overwrites the data using the available backup functionality.
Information processed by third-party services may be retained according to the respective third party's policies and retention practices.
Users can delete locally stored BillDash data by using the App's available deletion features or by clearing the App's data/uninstalling the App.
Backup files created by the user are not automatically deleted when the App is uninstalled.
Users should separately delete backup files if they no longer want to retain them.
For information processed by third-party services, deletion and retention are subject to the respective service's policies and available mechanisms.
BillDash is a business productivity application and is not directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
New features are added;
Third-party services change;
Data practices change; or
Applicable legal or regulatory requirements change.
The updated Privacy Policy will include a new effective date.
