Hello! I'm Poyung Lin, an Assistant Research Fellow and Assistant Professor at the Institute of International Relations, National Chengchi University. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University at Albany, SUNY in Spring 2025.

My research interests include alliance politics, foreign policy analysis, and security studies. My doctoral dissertation examines the influence of reputation on U.S. foreign policy, focusing on the effects of abandonment on U.S. military aid. My latest work has appeared in The Pacific Review.
