If you want a durable, single-pair wired headphone with soft protein ear cushions for long listening sessions, choose POWMEE Bundle M2&M1; if you need a bulk set of 12 colorful headphones for a classroom or group setting, choose Konohan 12.
• POWMEE Bundle M2&M1: Best for individual comfort and travel due to its lightweight, foldable design and soft protein earmuffs; however, it lacks a built-in microphone or remote controls.
• Konohan 12: Ideal for educators or event organizers needing volume and variety with its 12-pack of mixed colors and sturdy ABS construction; the trade-off is a more basic plastic build compared to premium soft materials.
• Best for the solo traveler or parent: POWMEE Bundle M2&M1 offers the perfect fit for a child's head without the hassle of tangled cords during trips.
• Best for the teacher or library: Konohan 12 provides immediate quantity and organization with individually wrapped units ready for distribution.
• Final takeaway: The choice isn't about which brand is "better" overall, but whether your priority is personal ergonomics for one user or logistical efficiency for twelve.
The POWMEE Bundle M2&M1 stands out immediately as a device designed with the individual child in mind. Its core strength lies in the engineering of the headband and ear cups. The manufacturer specifies an adjustable headband paired with soft cushion protein earmuffs. This combination suggests a product built specifically to minimize fatigue during extended wear. When a child is wearing headphones for hours—whether watching a movie on a tablet, listening to an audiobook, or playing educational games—the difference between hard plastic and soft protein padding is significant. This feature alone makes it a strong contender for anyone looking for the best bone conduction headphones for ps5 alternatives that prioritize physical comfort over flashy tech features.
Another defining characteristic is its portability. The foldable design allows the unit to collapse into a much smaller footprint, making it incredibly convenient to toss into a suitcase or backpack. For parents traveling by plane or car, this compact nature prevents the headphones from taking up valuable space or getting crushed under other luggage. The tangle-free nylon braided cord, measuring five feet in length, adds another layer of practicality. It ensures that the wires do not get knotted during storage or while being used by active kids. This durability is crucial because children can be rough with their electronics.

However, potential buyers must understand what this product does not offer. There is no microphone, remote, or volume control built into the headset itself. If your goal is to make voice calls or adjust volume directly on the ear cup, this model will not meet those needs. It relies entirely on the connected device for audio management. Furthermore, the connectivity is strictly wired via a 3.5mm jack. While this ensures zero latency—a critical factor for gaming—it also means the user cannot enjoy the freedom of wireless movement. This makes it less suitable for someone seeking the best spatial audio wireless earbuds for ps5, as it is fundamentally a wired, stationary solution. It is best suited for families who value safety, simplicity, and long-term comfort for their children in static environments like schools, planes, or living rooms.
The Konohan 12 is engineered for a completely different use case: high-volume distribution. The most striking feature is the sheer quantity included in the package. You receive twelve distinct units, split across four vibrant colors: red, purple, gray, and black, with three pieces of each. This variety is not just aesthetic; it serves a functional purpose in group settings where identifying ownership is necessary to prevent mix-ups. For teachers managing a classroom, librarians outfitting a reading room, or event planners organizing activities, having twelve pairs ready to hand out saves immense time and organizational effort. Each unit comes individually wrapped in hygienic OPP bags, ensuring they remain clean and free from bumps or abrasions until they are needed.
The build quality focuses on utility rather than luxury. The enclosure material is Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), a robust plastic known for its durability and ability to withstand drops and heavy handling. The ear pads are made of soft rubber, providing a decent seal against external noise through passive cancellation. While these pads are comfortable enough for everyday school use, the overall sensation is likely firmer than the protein-cushioned alternative from POWMEE. The 4-foot cable length is sufficient for classroom desks or library stations, allowing students some mobility without tangling excessively. The frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz indicates standard dynamic drivers capable of delivering clear sound for language lessons, online classes, or media consumption.
Despite its strengths, this product has clear limitations for the individual buyer. The lack of a dedicated microphone means these are for listening only. The plastic construction, while tough, may feel less premium than softer alternatives. Additionally, the design is not explicitly marketed as foldable in the same way the POWMEE is, suggesting a potentially bulkier profile when stored. It is not designed for the casual parent buying one pair for a single trip; it is a tool for institutions. If you are looking for the best mic bluetooth headset for ps5 or any wireless experience, this wired bulk pack is not the answer. It excels in scenarios where you need reliability, hygiene, and quantity for multiple users simultaneously.
• Best for battery life → Neither requires charging as both are fully wired, but the Konohan 12 is ideal for uninterrupted classroom sessions without worrying about power.
• Best for travel → POWMEE Bundle M2&M1 wins here due to its foldable design and compact storage capability, fitting easily into carry-on bags.
• Best for group events → Konohan 12 is the obvious choice, offering a complete 12-pack solution that eliminates the need to buy multiple separate units.
• Best for long-duration comfort → POWMEE Bundle M2&M1 edges ahead with its protein earmuffs and snug pad cushion, designed specifically to reduce fatigue.
• Best for durability in high-traffic areas → Konohan 12 uses rugged ABS plastic and comes individually sealed, making it resistant to the wear and tear of shared use.
• Best for silence and focus → Both offer passive noise cancellation, but the Konohan 12's over-the-ear design combined with soft rubber pads creates a solid barrier for noisy classrooms.
• Best for voice communication → Neither product includes a microphone, so neither is suitable for voice chats or calls without external accessories.
• Best for color variety → Konohan 12 offers four distinct colors per pack, helping users distinguish their gear instantly in a shared environment.
In my opinion, if I were shopping for a single pair of headphones for my own child to use on a long flight or for quiet study time, I would buy the POWMEE Bundle M2&M1. The emphasis on protein earmuffs and the foldable design signals a thoughtful approach to individual comfort and portability that aligns perfectly with family needs. However, if I were a teacher preparing for a semester or organizing a workshop, the Konohan 12 would be my only logical choice. The 12-pack format and hygienic packaging solve logistical headaches that a single-unit purchase simply cannot address. Ultimately, the decision rests on whether you are buying for one person or many. For the specific use case of pairing with a console like the PS5, the wired nature of both ensures zero lag, making either a viable option for gaming, though the POWMEE's comfort might give it a slight edge for marathon sessions.
Both the POWMEE Bundle M2&M1 and Konohan 12 require a 3.5mm headphone jack to function. They are compatible with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and game consoles that feature this port, but you will need an adapter for modern devices lacking a dedicated audio jack.
No, neither product includes a built-in microphone, remote control, or volume adjustment buttons on the headset itself. They are designed strictly for passive audio playback, meaning all volume and call management must be done on the connected device.
The POWMEE Bundle M2&M1 features soft cushion protein earmuffs designed to minimize tiredness and provide a snug fit for various head shapes. In contrast, the Konohan 12 utilizes soft rubber ear pads made of ABS plastic, which are sturdy and effective at blocking ambient noise but offer a different tactile feel.
While technically possible, the Konohan 12 is optimized for bulk usage in classrooms, libraries, or events. Using just one pair is inefficient given the price-to-quantity ratio, whereas the POWMEE is specifically packaged and sized for a single user's daily routine.
