About the Foundation
The Powhatan Education Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enhance the learning experience for Powhatan County Public Schools’ learning community. The Foundation promotes innovative educational opportunities, recognizes outstanding achievements, and maintains and develops community partnerships.
The tournament will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the beautiful Mill Quarter Golf Course in Powhatan, Virginia.

3rd Place Prize - 4 x $125 Golf Galaxy gift Card
Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship Opportunities - Sponsorship is a great way to support the PEF and market your company/organization. There are several different sponsorship opportunities.
A) Main Tournament Sponsor - $5,000 - The main tournament sponsor will have verbal recognition at the tournament along with their logo displayed on the PEF website and a banner at the tournament. This level of sponsorship will also include two foursomes.
B) Lunch Sponsorship - $ 1,500 - Lunch will be provided by the Cafe at Maidens. In addition, for verbal recognition as the lunch sponsor, this level of sponsorship includes a foursome and a prominent sign displayed at the lunch pickup location.
C) Friend of the Foundation - $1,000 - These sponsorships include a foursome and a prominent sign displayed at the lunch pickup location.
D) Team Sponsorship - $450 - This sponsorship is intended to provide an opportunity for a foursome of teachers to play in the tournament at no cost to them.
E) Beverage Cart Sponsorship - $250 - Your sign will be displayed on a beverage cart.
F) Hole Sponsorship - $100 - This will include an 18" X 24" sign displayed at the tee box.
Individual Golfer and Foursome Registration
The tournament format will be a Four Man Captain's Choice with a shotgun start beginning at 12:00 p.m.
*Early registration from 11/1/2023 through 12/31/2023: The entry fee is $100 per golfer or $400 per team. Included in the fee are the following: greens fees with cart, range balls, two mulligans per player, beverages, and lunch.
Regular registration opens 1/1/2024. The entry fee is $125 per golfer or $500 per team. Included in the fee are the following: greens fees with cart, range balls, two mulligans per player, beverages, and lunch.
The tournament is open to all entrants. The following tournament awards will be given out at the golf course: 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin. There will be additional chances to win other prizes through various raffles.
Please register to play in the tournament by Thursday, May 24, 2024.
This tournament benefits students and staff of Powhatan County Public Schools via the Powhatan Education Foundation. The PEF, Inc, is an approved 501(c)(3) public charitable foundation for Powhatan County Public Schools.
