Power Breakfast Meeting for November 2025
Dear Fellow Texans,
You are to an insightful virtual meeting focused on dementia, caregiving, and support strategies with a leading expert in the field. We are honored to host Dr. Fayron Epps, PhD, RN, FGSA, FAAN, Professor and the inaugural Karen and Ron Hermann Endowed Chair in Caregiver Research at UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing.
Dr. Epps is an accomplished nurse scholar with a strong focus on improving the quality of life for families affected by dementia. Her work is particularly recognized for developing culturally relevant, evidence-based practices and exploring the role of religious activities and spiritual connectedness in meaningful engagement for persons with dementia, especially within African American communities.
During this session, Dr. Epps will also discuss the innovative work being done at the Biggs Institute for Alzheimer's and Neurodegenerative Diseases.
