My research uses the METROPOLIS2 dynamic traffic simulation model to evaluate transportation infrastructure and mobility policies. This model allows me to analyze route choice, departure time choice, congestion dynamics, modal shift, welfare effects, and environmental outcomes.
I apply this tool to assess road infrastructure projects, public transit investments, congestion mitigation strategies, and emissions impacts in urban and metropolitan contexts.
Applications
Road infrastructure evaluation
Public transit investment
Congestion analysis
Emissions and environmental costs
Welfare analysis
