We are pleased to announce that the conference Finite Geometry, Combinatorics, Boolean Functions and their Links will take place in Magdeburg, Germany, from September 15–19, 2026.

The conference will be dedicated to Alexander Pott on the occasion of his 65th birthday. Its aim is to present recent results in finite geometry, combinatorics and Boolean functions with a particular emphasis on the connections between these areas.

The conference will be held at the historical Lukasklause in Magdeburg. 

The city of Magdeburg is located near Berlin, Hannover and Leipzig, all of which have international airports.  There are regular train connections from these airports to Magdeburg, with journey times between 1 and 2.5 hours. 

To book your train journey, visit the official website or use the official "DB Navigtor" app provided by the german national railway company, Deutsche Bahn. The app is also very useful for checking real-time timetable updates and platform information.

In Magdeburg, most destinations can easily be reached on foot or by public transport (tram or bus). You can buy your ticket directly from the ticket machine on board the tram or bus. Due to construction work at Alter Markt in the city centre, some tram services are currently replaced by buses. Please note that on trams and buses, you need to press the “Stop” button if you want the vehicle to stop at the next stop.
