The city of Magdeburg is located near Berlin, Hannover and Leipzig, all of which have international airports. There are regular train connections from these airports to Magdeburg, with journey times between 1 and 2.5 hours.
To book your train journey, visit https://int.bahn.de/ or use the official "DB Navigtor" app (https://int.bahn.de/en/booking-information/db-navigator) provided by the german national railway company, Deutsche Bahn. The app is also very useful for checking real-time timetable updates and platform information.
In Magdeburg, most destinations can easily be reached on foot or by public transport (tram or bus). You can buy your ticket directly from the ticket machine on board the tram or bus. Due to construction work at Alter Markt in the city centre, some tram services are currently replaced by buses.
If you have any questions or need assistance with planning or booking your journey, please do not hesitate to contact the organizers.
