Ren (they/them) is a ceramic artist working primarily as a wheel thrower. After initially viewing themselves as unartistic, Ren took their first ceramics class in 2012 and was immediately hooked by the ability to create functional, everyday household items. They now enjoy finding accessible ways for youth and adults to explore the wide range of possibilities that ceramics can offer.
