1. Information and Permissions Requested
To provide core video and audio playback features, Pot PRO PLAYER requests access to the following device permissions:
Media & Storage Access (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):
Purpose: To scan, display, and play locally stored video and audio files on your device and manage playlists.
Privacy Note: All media files are processed strictly on your local device. We do not upload, transfer, or store your personal files on any external servers.
Foreground Services & Notifications (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK, POST_NOTIFICATIONS):
Purpose: To allow uninterrupted background playback when the screen is off or when switching between apps, providing playback controls via standard system notifications.
Internet & Audio Settings (INTERNET, WAKE_LOCK, MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS):
Purpose: To support network video streaming (via HTTP/HTTPS protocols), keep the screen active during video playback, and adjust volume or audio focus properly.
2. Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party SDKs to serve advertisements and support cast features:
Google AdMob:
We use Google AdMob to show advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) and technical data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads in accordance with Google's policies.

Google Cast (Chromecast):
The App supports casting local and network media to external displays using Google Play Services.
3. Data Sharing and Security
No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, request, or store personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
Local Processing: Your media library and playback history remain strictly on your device.
File Sharing: When you choose to share a video or audio file using the built-in share feature, the file is shared securely via FileProvider only to the application you explicitly select.
4. Managing Permissions
You can grant or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings:
Settings > Apps > Pot PRO PLAYER > Permissions.
Note: Revoking essential permissions (such as storage/media access) will prevent the App from playing local media files.
5. Children's Privacy
Pot PRO PLAYER is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
