The History of our Training
This course was originally offered in-person in 2018 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Cynthia Jordan Fisher continued to expand it, and offer it to more people, from many diverse backgrounds and careers.
In the spring of 2020, she quickly moved the course online. With that, we realized the benefits of online training which allows students to work at their own pace. It also allows one to join the training discussions on weekends from their own homes, wherever they may be worldwide!
We have been redesigning the course to optimize a blended structure. The thoughtfully prepared presentations and learning activities, from highly regarded professionals, come from their years of frontline experience. They come to you prepared to share their stories and experiences of mentoring, nurturing, and supporting families from many diverse walks of life.
Please join us as you begin or continue on your journey as a doula and be supported while doing so!
