Extremely wip, since I want to make her fit into The Veilguard setting. Her present story will be updated as I progress in the game.
Kirrily is a companion & a member of The Veilguard. I explore her continuously.
TW: Slavery, mental abuse, addiction, medication abuse
πirrily spent her days at Otto's Oddities, a captivating shop dedicated to showcasing nature's peculiarities. As the ownerβs right-hand assistant, she meticulously prepared and processed animal bodies, feeling fortunate to lead a relatively pleasant life despite being an elven slave. However, when Otto discovered that customers were more fascinated by his post-mortem creations, the taxidermy shop transformed into a bizarre archive of oddities, blending reality with a splash of creative flair.
As time passed, the grotesque figurines became increasingly outrageous, pushing the boundaries of weirdness to captivate a crowd that had grown bored with the usual fare. Otto urged Kirrily to tap into her imagination; alas, the mounting pressure took a toll on her. She struggled through sleepless nights, relying on dubious substances her partner provided, convinced they would spark her creativity. Desperate for inspiration, the pair crossed the line into grave robbing, using human remains as props for their exhibits.
Whenever Kirrily voiced her concerns, Otto dismissed her as delusional, insisting that she failed to see his marketing brilliance and artistic vision. Gaslit into submission, she became further entangled in his twisted scheme, her dependence on him deepening alongside her reliance on drugs.
Otto's reckless visits to the morgue cast a shadow over their work, raising suspicions but leaving little evidence for prosecution. In a chilling twist, he decided that Kirrily should bear the brunt of their dark dealings. Desperate to prove her loyalty, she attempted to perform taxidermy on herself, believing it was the ultimate sacrifice for Otto's Oddities.
Yet, no matter how far she went, it never seemed to be enough for long.
When undeniable evidence finally emerged, the judgment they had long evaded came crashing down. Otto feigned innocence, acting bewildered at the actions of his increasingly unstable right hand. "How could he have known?" he claimed, portraying himself as the victim of his partner's madness. A cold-hearted manipulator, he left her to face the consequences alone, revealing the depths of his monstrous nature. It was on him to decide what to do with the elf, but in all honesty, the man already got acquainted with the idea of discarding her to the judge should they face court.
As her owner, he planned on pleading for innocent in exchange to let her be executed.
Planned.
