How do I create a post?

Click on the Postings tab and then click on the plus button at the bottom right corner. You can choose between a status or photo post.

Why does Post24 check my location for every post?

Post24 relies on only displaying only content that has really been posted from a particular city. Your location is only made public, if you select the "Share your Location?" button on the Location page. It will turn purple when selected.

Post24 does not share your location with any third parties if the post is kept private.

How come I don’t see the post I made today on the City Postings timeline?

While making a post you need to click the option for "Make Post Public?" It appears purple when selected. If you make a post from the City Postings timeline, then it is already selected.

Also, any public post made that is not in the Greater Houston Area will not show up at this time. If you think your post was made within this error, then contact us to let us know the zip code from which you sent the post.

How come I don’t see my post from yesterday in the City Postings timeline?

Because we desire to show relevant posts for the current day. They can still be seen on your Home Postings timeline and your VIPs can see them on their VIP Postings timeline

How do I delete my posts?

Click the three dots that appear on the bottom right of the header for the post. Then click the delete option from the list. This action cannot be undone.

How do I delete a comment?

You can delete any comment you have made on any posts or any comments made on one of your posts. You will find a red X to the right of the comment. Click it to delete the comment.

How do I view the post's location?

If the post included the option of sharing the location, then a map icon appears on the post. Clicking the icon will make a map appear. The location and your present location are marked on the map. You can see the address by clicking the pin for the location. You can also get directions to this location.

How do I make a comment?

Click the chat bubbles icon that appear on the post. There you will see any comments and at the bottom you can input and post a comment. Click the paper airplane icon to post it.

How do I view the City or VIP Postings timelines, I only see Home?

Swipe to the right or to the left to switch your view.

How do I flag a post as offensive or inappropriate?

On the City Postings timeline go to the post and under the time and date of the post look for three dots. Click on the dots and click on the 'Flag as Inappropriate' option.

Profile

How do I edit my profile?

Go to the Profile tab and then click on the edit button at the bottom right corner.

How do I add or change a profile picture?

On the first page of the profile edit page you can set your profile picture. The first time click the image icon to add an image. Click 'Choose Another' to change it.

Can anyone view my complete profile?

Only a VIP can view your sensitive information that is included on your profile. Others can view limited information.

VIP

What is a VIP?

A VIP can view your complete profile and you can view their complete profile. All the posts of a VIP are included on the VIP Posting timeline.

How do I send a VIP request?

There are two ways to find their profile. You can click on the person icon found on one of their public posts. You can also search for them by first and last name from the search page. This can be accessed from the VIP tab by clicking the search icon. Swipe the returned results to see the 'View' action button to go to their profile.

On their profile, click the add VIP button to send the request.

How do I search for friends or people on Post24?

Click on the VIP tab and then click on the button that has a magnifying glass. You can search by first and last name. You can swipe any of the returned results to see the 'View' action button.

How do I accept a VIP request?

Click on the VIP tab and then click on the button that has a plus icon.

I only see my List of VIPs can I do anything else?

Swipe any of your VIPs to perform an action. Swipe right and click 'View' to see their profile. Swipe left if you want to remove a VIP from your VIP list.

Miscellaneous

How do I log out?

Click on the Profile tab and then click on the logout icon in the top right corner.

How does the Explore feature work?

Click on the Explore tab to access this feature. This feature will filter the City Postings timeline based on the selected category.

The Explore page gives you the option to choose from any of your chosen interests made on your profile. Click one and you will be taken to the City timeline displaying only posts that are marked for this category.
