OUR STORY:  

We are the Post Family! Frankie and Susanna married in June of 2002 with aspirations of adventure. They met and got to know each other while on a camping trip with friends and that sparked something that grew into a family of 5. Our oldest is Hayden, he’s 15, loves the outdoors, running, hammock camping, and off roading. Our middle child is Hallie. She’s 12, loves singing, dancing, and hanging out with her friends. Our youngest is Harper. She’s 8. She loves life, camping, hanging with her family, and loving on our dog, Huck. Huck is our 8 year old Cockapoo. Huck is short for Huckleberry… His name came from the famous line from one of our favorite movies, Tombstone! 

So, How did it all start? In 2017, Frankie had his sabbatical from the church (He’s a pastor at our home church, Community Bible in Fort Smith, Arkansas.) His sabbatical was for 31 days. So, we planned an epic family adventure… We loaded up the family car and headed out to see as much of the country north and west as possible. We thought the trip would be around 4,000 miles. But it ended up being right at 8,000 miles. The kids at the time were 9, 7,  and 3. It was a blast, and in that trip we realized as a family just how much we enjoyed traveling and the adventures of new places together. 

As the kids grew, so did their love for YouTube and a desire for our family to start our own adventures. The name “Post Family Pilgrimage” came from our love for the journey. There’s a classic and very true phrase, “it’s not about the destination; it’s about the journey.” As believers in Christ, we know that all of us are on what John Bunyan called a “Pilgrim’s Progress.” That word for us just stuck… Pilgrimage!  So, we are Post Family Pilgrimage!
