Instrument: guitar, bass, saxophone, contrabass, synthesizers, drums or even a bird tweet. These are just some of the instruments that you can use in Possible Music. So, with the word "instrument" we refer to the actual instrument sound.
Sequence: a sequence of 8 notes (or pauses) playable by any instrument apart from the drum machine, which plays a matrix of 4*8 notes/pauses.
Player: basically, the player is someone (or something) who takes an instrument and plays a sequence. In Possible Music, we call "Player" the user interface shown in the image here beside.
Here you can change the instrument, edit the sequence, the octave, the volume, and more.
Thumb: down in the bottom of the app, you'll notice one or more instrument icons, one for every player in your session, plus two special icons. Those are the thumbs. The first from the left is the thumb of the Mixer, while the last is the Add Button. Press a thumb to switch to that instrument, or long press to show a menu with some pretty useful actions.
Session: let's say you have added 3 players that are playing a cool jingle. That's a session. You can save it, and then share it or delete it.
QR Code: a way to share a saved session is through a QR Code, which is an image of a matrix barcode (I'm sure you already knew).
BPM: beats per minute. That's basically the tempo of your session.
Mixer: down in the thumb menu, you'll notice that the first one have a peculiar three-sliders-shape. That's the Mixer, a place where you can edit the tempo (BPM) of the sequence, apply effects to the players, or mute/unmute them.
Pull-down menu: the top-right corner of the app has a chevron pointing down. That's a handle that opens the pull-down menu. Tap it or pull it down with a gesture.
FX / Effects: every player's sound can be edited through effects like distortion, reverb or delay. You'll find'em in the Mixer.
Soundbank: sounds in Possible Music are generated through soundbanks. You can change the soundbank for every given player pressing the wave-shaped "SOUND"-labeled button in the bottom-right corner.
