The Indian Premier League will be happening with 10 teams instead of 8 teams, Every one is asking which are the two new teams of IPL 2022?. The two new teams that have been finalised to the IPL setup are the Lucknow Super Giants and the Gujarat Titans franchises. While the Lucknow Super Giants team was bought by the RPSG Group in an auction for more than INR 7000 Crores, the Gujarat Titans franchise has been bought by a private CVC Capital company for almost about INR 6000 Crores.

After the successful completion of IPL 2021 session 2 in United Arab Emirates, speculations were being made whether the IPL 2022 would be played in India after Covid19 pandemic, but BCCI secretary Jay Shah has officially confirmed that the IPL 2022 will take place in India if all goes right.

Which are the venues where IPL 2022 Matches will be played?.The matches for the 15th edition of IPL will be held in more cities as compared to rest of the IPL. Some of the likely cities are Gujarat Titans, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamshala, Guwahati, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kanpur, Kochi, Mumbai, Mohali, Pune, Ranchi, and Thiruvananthapuram.

These are old venues where all the IPL matches used to be played, but this time BCCI is planning to expand and include more cities. Hopefully, everything will be fine during IPL 2022 and it will be played in India only. India is always the best favourite location for BCCI to organize IPL and other major tournaments in case of the COVID pedantic.
