Poseidon H2O's provincially approved food handler safety program is designed to help the kitchen staff of facilities of all sizes to understand the risks involved in foodborne illness and intoxication. Many provinces have requirements that staff be trained in food safety in order to mitigate the risks associated with cooking for the public.
Whether you are a brick and mortar location, or a mobile unit attending fairs and festivals, or just part of a charity group hosting occasional events, having a certified food handler is a must. Poseidon H2O's in person course offers direct contact with certified public health inspectors, and the online version is set to be put in place later in the year.
