Portuguese interpreter and translator - Qualified, experienced and security-cleared.

I have wide-ranging experience in translating and interpreting at the highest standards. I work with a number of companies with diverse language needs, specialising in Public Service and the Criminal Justice System.

Originally from Brazil where I graduated in Economics, I have been based in London since 1989. I have also lived and worked in the Netherlands. I have extensive knowledge of both the Portuguese and English languages and, due to my bilingual upbringing and education, I am also fluent in Dutch.

I am a registered Public Service Interpreter (NRPSI) and hold the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (Law) and the Diploma in Translation (semi-specialism Business and Science).

Registered as a Chartered Linguist in the UK, with verified professional credentials, I am committed to a life-long Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme. I will continue to improve my professional skills in the long term by broadening my knowledge and keeping up to date with new working methods, tools and techniques.

As a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL) and of other professional bodies, I can also provide certified and sworn translations for official use.
