Resilience
This strength is the weapon I always rely on. It’s what keeps me from giving up. When I know what my dreams are, this strength helps me achieve the results I want. Even though it sometimes makes me seem a bit more ambitious compared to other people. Perseverance makes me strong in the face of obstacles and challenges.
Curiosity
Curiosity
I enjoy learning new things and sharing them with others. I like asking questions about topics that interest me, and I really enjoy discussing them with people. I’d rather go on hikes in nature or visit museums than go to the mall. That’s why I love and am drawn to the world of research.
I truly felt resilience and curiosity whilst pursuing my dream of securing a scholarship. Ever since Year 11, I’ve been interested in scholarships; from that point on, I frequently met with my Guidance and Counselling teacher to find out more about scholarships and searched for information online. The journey to securing one was quite a long one, but I eventually succeeded in obtaining a scholarship after having previously been rejected by two scholarship programmes. Without those two qualities, I don’t think I would have succeeded.
