This artwork presents a powerful and symbolic fusion of life, death, strength, and mystery. At its center lies a skull, representing mortality and the impermanence of existence, surrounded by blooming flowers that signify life, fleeting beauty, and hope. A fierce tiger climbs across the skull, symbolizing strength, courage, and primal instinct. A snake weaves through the flowers and bones, representing temptation, hidden danger, or spiritual transformation. On the side, astrological symbols and an old key hint at fate, destiny, and the quest for truth or liberation.
This artwork depicts a horned mythological figure adorned with intricate golden ornaments and mystical symbols. With a fierce expression, sharp fangs, and piercing eyes, it represents a spiritual guardian or a divine protector from malevolent forces. The elaborate headdress and armor are rich in traditional patterns, merging ancient cultural aesthetics with divine power. Surrounding the figure are swirls of white smoke and orange flames, evoking a powerful spiritual presence and a mystical atmosphere.
meaning The Sacred Power of the Earth, is a phrase that captures the majesty, sanctity, and hidden strength that flows through the universe. “Kawisesan” refers to divine power or spiritual glory, while “gumi” is an ancient Javanese word for the earth or the world. Together, they express a deep reverence for the cosmic energy that binds all existence—between sky and earth, humanity and spirit.
This concept evokes the belief that every element of nature holds a piece of divine power: the wind, fire, water, and earth each carry sacred energy. In traditional Javanese or Nusantara philosophy, "Kawisesan Ning Gumi" reflects harmony with nature, ancestral respect, and the awareness of a sacred connection between all beings and the divine source.
Rangda is the queen of the leaks in Balinese mythology. This scary creature is said to often kidnap and eat small children and lead an army of evil witches against the Barong, which is a symbol of good power. Apart from being the queen of the leaks, Rangda herself is considered the embodiment of Goddess Durga
