The PJDA Dance Company has traveled down to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida four times to perform with Dance the World Events. We attended the 2016, 2018, 2021, & 2024 sessions. We participate in a parade down Main Street in the Magic Kingdom with studios from across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In 2021, we were able to meet Sharna Burgess from Dancing with the Stars and take a master class from her! It was a great learning experience and we were able to get a taste of Latin dancing. In 2024, we took a masterclass with famous Hip Hop choreographer, Geo Hubela! This was an awesome opportunity for our girls to learn a fun Hip Hop combination. We practice for a year and a half to learn and master the parade choreography. We also bring our own own routine to perform in the World Showcase at Epcot. With a lot of preparation our dancers put in so much time and effort in order to give two flawless performances in Disney. These experiences have created strong bonds, amazing memories, and personal growth for all dancers.
