Maria's Portfolio

“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.” Dorothea Lange

I usually see everything as if I had a camera in hand. When we can't find what words to say, a picture will. And most of the times, we don't have to: an image will tell all you need to know.

When it doesn't, I write.

About me

I am Maria Cecilia Tebet da Malta, a Brazilian girl in her 27 years old. I moved to Canada to experience myself in new situations and cultures, train my English and communication skills. With my imaginative camera in hands, I like to see the good in people and in the world around me, always with respect and compassion. Holding my real camera, I am driven to shot nature, landscapes and the life surrounding it. What I want in life is simplicity. A solid financial independence, working in a positive environment that helps me to practice happiness in my personal life.

Picture Collection

I divided my personal and professional background into three sections, to show some of the my pictures. I selected some themes, that were related to each section. The first one, my Home page, tells a little bit more about myself, displays my passion for Photography and in photographing birds. Followed by my Skills, represented by landscaping images. Then, Professional Experiences with a botanical portfolio and coming after, my Academic Qualifications represented with architectural pictures.
