About Me
Hi,
my name is Ana and I'm from Portugal. I'm brand new at UX Design but I have a lot of working experience.
First of all, I would like to explain a little about my professional career. I studied Radiology and for about 11 years I have been working in a hospital as a Radiologist. It is not a job that challenges me but it is very stable. That is why, since I finished the course, I have already done a post-graduation, a master's degree in Clinical Communication, and another degree in European Studies.
In 2016, I took a gap year to travel and that's when I started working at Upwork. I did a little bit of everything: translation, technical writing, creative writing, ... When I got back to my work at HPH, I continued to do occasional work at Upwork to earn extra money. But I never found anything that really make me want to quit my “day job”.
Then I found UX and I was in love! Helping people and good communication are my passions. Being able to unite them in a job is like a dream come true. Now, I just want to continue learning in this area and land my first UX job.
