Senior Deputy Director, R&I Department, Lift

Duration: October 2021- Present

Responsibilities:

Deputy model manager of Walton nano-space lifts (300kg to 800kg).
Creating layouts based on survey reports, client demand, and EBS entry.
Design, analyze and optimized structural models of individual parts and prepare bill of materials (BOM) and packing list for materials consumption and material delivery.
Prepare production and installation data of designed models and trains the production, installation and commissioning team.
Perform numerical and analytical study for structural design for the capacity from 300kg to 5000kg to optimize structures.
Solving all problems that arise during production, installation and commissioning team.
Communicating with our supplier to meet and fulfill international standards and solve different issues.
Optimizing designed parts on regular basis to reduce raw material (RM) costs.
Develop new concept design models to keep up with the market trend.

Achievements:

Employee of the month October of 2023 for Lift R&I section.
Introduce SOP and SLA to improve quality control, production, installation and aftersales sections activity and service.
Integrate system engineering approach to develop model based production. Production capacity increased to 48units/month from 20units/month.
Optimized product designs adopting statistical approach to ensure EN, ASME and ISO standards using minimum materials.
Introduced DQ (Design Qualification), IQ (Installation Qualification), OQ (Operational Qualification), PQ (Performance Qualification) steps to ensure qualification and validation of the lifts.
Introduced new models for nano-space shaft conditions.

Founded in 2016, MIST aeronautics & astronautics club (MAAC) is comparatively a new student organization in MIST. I was an active member since the start, and successfully lead the design team of six undergraduate students & collaborated with other sub-teams in the competition Design, Build & Fly (DBF-2019) organized by AIAA in 2019 at Tucson, Arizona, USA.

MIST Robotics Club (MRC) commonly referred to as MRC was established on 2013. It is one of the most active and prestigious robotics clubs of the country functioning under the supervision of EECE department of MIST. MRC arranges national level robotics competitions and workshops to help student develop their creativity through creation of various types of robots that can be of service to the mankind.
